I keep thinking about this poem again lately. I usually skip it on my ipod so I won't tear up in public, but I listened to it all the way through tonight after work and had a hard time standing on the subway platform without crying. Tomorrow night I'm heading to the Bowery Poetry Club to see Anis perform again, and am counting down the days until Andrea Gibson will be gracing the city. I never can get enough of her words...
