Alexander McQueen's exhibit at the MET this past week utterly blew my mind. The entire show from the background music, to the rusted mirrors, the wisdom on the walls, the detail in every exquisite piece of fabric...I honestly had my breath taken away the moment I stepped through the entrance. McQueen is a genius and the fashion//art world truly lost one of its stars this past year. I walked out of the exhibit with a totally new frame of mind about the fashion world, and how
real works of art ought to look.
